Kearsarge Food Hub is mission-driven organization based in Bradford that was founded by four Kearsarge High School graduates (and one Maine transplant) in the fall of 2014. Its focus is community engagement, increasing food access, and promoting economic and environmental viability within our local food network.

Kearsarge Food Hub is an active participant in the local community and economy in many ways. It hosts and promotes events and educational opportunities, and facilitates community and food system connections to help bridge the gap between producers and patrons. The Hub is building aggregation, storage, and distribution infrastructure and creating relationships with local institutions like restaurants, schools and food pantries in the Kearsarge/Lake Sunapee area.

The primary program of the Kearsarge Food Hub is Sweet Beet, a local food market that represents 30+ local growers and producers within a 30-mile radius of the storefront on West Main Street in Bradford. Market supply includes seasonal produce, meat, farm-fresh eggs and dairy, fresh baked goods, canned and preserved goods, artisanal crafts and more. Hub members work directly with local producers to keep the market stocked with seasonal local products all year long. Market selections and hours change seasonally, so tune in to our website and social media for up-to-date information.
